Tshegofatso Mabasa cites Relebohile Mofokeng as the best youngster he has played with
Tshegofatso Mabasa is not surprised by Relebohile Mofokeng's move to Belgium.
The former Orlando Pirates striker said Mofokeng always showed his prowess as a Pirates player which made him and his team-mates marvel at Mofokeng's qualities.
The nippy 21-year-old Bafana Bafana international recently completed a move from the Betway Premiership Champions to Belgium's St Gilloise.
"I think you would know who the answer is, I would say Rele. Look, Relebohile (Mofokeng) is something else, we used to say this when he started to be brought into the team, that 'This boy, where does he take this big confidence?'" said Mabasa in an interview with Apex Sports International.
"He has always been like that, what you see now, he has always been like that, since he arrived. You see some skinny boy but the confidence that comes out of that, let him have the ball and you will see.
“He is a generational talent. I don't think anytime soon we will see someone like that, maybe (Emile) Witbooi might be the closest one but ja Rele is just something else and he's very mature in his game, the way he thinks during games. The boy is something else honestly.”
