TS Galaxy coach Adna Beganovic on reaching the Nedbank Cup final: It will be great if we can win this trophy for the second time in the club's history
Adna Beganovic is looking at etching his name in the annals of local football history.
The TS Galaxy coach said he is hoping his team wins the Nedbank Cup competition in order for them to create history for the Mpumalanga-based side.
Galaxy have an opportunity of repeating the feat of 2019 when they won the Ke Yona competition again when they face Durban City in the final next month.
They beat National First Division side Milford FC 4-3 on penalties at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium yesterday to the delight of the home fans.
“It’s very important for us, for the players, for the coaching staff, for the club to do that a second time in our history,” Beganovic said on SuperSport TV.
“It’s very important for us, for the players, for the coaching staff, for the club to do that a second time in our history.
“And also, when you do that, when you win trophy, always your name, our name, TS galaxy name it’s on this trophy.
“I think we need to do that because our family, our kids deserve that. We worked hard. We worked a lot this year.
“We have some tough periods, but I think we deserve to write history this year, and we will do everything to do that.”
