Trust! Official: Liverpool extends contract with key player

The Hungarian midfielder has now secured a more lucrative contract.

Details: Earlier today, Liverpool's official X social media account announced the signing of a new long-term deal with 25-year-old midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

According to the terms of the updated contract, the Hungarian playmaker will remain at Anfield at least until June 2031. The new agreement also includes improved financial terms compared to his previous deal.

Liverpool views Szoboszlai as one of the cornerstone players for the coming years and expects him to continue playing a pivotal role for a team chasing silverware both in England and on the European stage.

Szoboszlai joined Liverpool from Leipzig for €70 million in 2023. He has made 147 appearances for the Reds, scoring 28 goals and providing 26 assists.
