Shock! Mohamed Salah returning to the Premier League?

Salah has once again set London abuzz with speculation.

Details: According to ONTime Sports, there is currently nothing concrete between Mohamed Salah and Chelsea: the parties are not in negotiations and no agreements have been reached.

However, the Egyptian striker has reportedly told friends that he would be open to a return to Chelsea. Moreover, the London club is the only English side Salah would consider joining.

This does not mean that a sensational comeback is in the works just yet. At this stage, it’s only about Salah’s own position—Chelsea have yet to make any concrete moves to sign him.

Salah is now a free agent after wrapping up a remarkable nine-year spell at Liverpool. The Merseyside club officially announced back in March that the Egyptian would leave at the end of the 2025/26 season.

It’s worth noting that out of the 300 Premier League matches Salah started, only six were for Chelsea, with the remaining 294 coming in a Liverpool shirt.
