Trouble with the law in England! Mohamed Salah has been stripped of his driving licence

The star forward has been hit with a six-month driving ban in the United Kingdom over a road incident in March.

Details: Former Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah has been disqualified from driving in England for six months. According to The Touchline, a magistrates' court in Cheshire found the 34-year-old footballer guilty of failing to identify the driver who was behind the wheel of his Rolls-Royce when it was caught committing a serious speeding offence in March this year.

In addition to the six-month driving ban, the courts ordered the Egyptian striker to pay a fine and cover legal costs totalling around €1,200 (£1,000). The ruling was issued in absentia, as the player no longer lives in the United Kingdom.

It is worth noting that in August 2026, after nine outstanding years at Anfield, Salah left the English Premier League and joined Turkish side Trabzonspor on a free transfer, signing a two-year deal. Last weekend, the forward delivered a spectacular performance in the Turkish Süper Lig, scoring a hat-trick and providing an assist in a resounding 4-0 victory over Galatasaray.
