Atalanta finished the current season in third place in the league table, and it appears this campaign could be Gian Piero Gasperini's last at the helm of the team.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, the Bergamo club has already identified a potential replacement should Gasperini depart. The club has established contact with Al-Nassr head coach Stefano Pioli. The Italian tactician may leave the Saudi side, and Atalanta have already been informed of his willingness to enter negotiations.
Earlier reports indicated that Gasperini met with the club's management, but the question of his future remains unresolved. His departure is still considered a realistic scenario.
Reminder: Gasperini is close to taking charge of Roma. He is ready to sign a contract until 2028 with a salary of 5 million euros per season.
