Details: According to El Chiringuito TV, just weeks after his controversial comments expressing affection for Madrid, the player made a trip to the city, instantly fueling speculation about his possible future with Los Blancos.
Let’s recall that earlier the Argentinian openly admitted:
“I would love to live in Madrid. It’s a beautiful city, it reminds me of Buenos Aires.” he said.
These words caused serious discontent among Chelsea’s management, who even suspended the player for two matches for “flirting” with the idea of a potential transfer.
However, this new trip appeared even more ambiguous in timing: it came less than 24 hours after Fernández scored the winning goal against Leeds United, sending his team to the FA Cup final.
