Transfer storm! Premier League club preparing another major £20.5m deal
Coventry are continuing to bolster their attacking lineup ahead of the new season in emphatic fashion.
Details: The English side is on the verge of signing Fenerbahce forward Sidiki Cherif. According to reports, Coventry and the Turkish club have already agreed terms for the transfer of the 19-year-old striker at £20.5 million.
Cherif is a Guinea international. If the deal is finalized, he'll continue his career in England, while Fenerbahce will pocket a significant sum for their striker.
It's worth noting that Sidiki Cherif came through the Angers academy and began his senior career at the French club before moving to Fenerbahce in February 2026. During the 2025/26 season, the 19-year-old striker made 36 appearances across all competitions for Angers and Fenerbahce, netting 7 goals and providing 1 assist. In the summer of 2026, Cherif officially became a Fenerbahce player by signing a contract until June 2030, and Transfermarkt values him at €18 million.
