The Julián Álvarez saga is approaching its finale, and Arsenal have decided to go all in.

Details: According to The Independent, Arsenal could offer Viktor Gyökeres, Gabriel Jesus and cash to Atlético Madrid in a huge deal for Julián Álvarez. The Madrid club value the Argentine at around £128 million and want his future decided by Friday.

The Gunners believe that including Gyökeres and Jesus in a potential deal could give them an advantage, as Atlético are looking to strengthen their attack. Álvarez still prefers a move to Barcelona, but with the Catalans unable to afford such a fee and having ended their pursuit, the 26-year-old has reportedly become more open to joining Arsenal. Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta have spent months working on the player, while the Emirates could soon part ways with Martinelli, Trossard and Jesus.

The striker himself was whistled by Atlético fans at the Metropolitano last Sunday, which only adds fuel to the fire. It's worth noting that Álvarez joined the Madrid club from Manchester City in the summer of 2024 for around £82 million, and a sale at the current valuation would almost double that figure for Los Colchoneros.

Reminder: London calling? No, thanks! Álvarez turns down Arsenal despite Atletico's green light.
