Details: Today, on the official X page of Italian side Milan, the club announced the signing of 25-year-old central defender Mario Gila. The Spanish footballer joins the Rossoneri from Lazio.
The transfer fee amounted to €30 million, with the defender penning a long-term contract with Milan until the summer of 2031.
This is one of the key defensive reinforcements for Milan ahead of the new season. Gila made a name for himself in Serie A with his reliable performances for Lazio, and now he'll continue his career under the new Rossoneri coaching staff.
The Spaniard has already joined the squad and will soon begin preparations for the upcoming season with Milan.
According to Transfermarkt, Mario Gila's market value is estimated at €30 million.
