Amorim is determined to keep Modrić at all costs.
Details: AC Milan’s new head coach, Rúben Amorim, addressed the rumors about Modrić potentially leaving the club this summer.
According to Amorim, Modrić is one of the team's pivotal figures, and he will do everything possible to keep him for the upcoming season:
"I want Modrić to stay, I’ve already spoken to Luka, and if I have to… I’ll go after him myself! I want Modrić to be with us this season," said Rúben Amorim.
Currently, Modrić is a free agent after his contract with the Rossoneri expired this summer. However, Amorim is confident that the club will be able to sign a new deal with the 40-year-old Croatian veteran.
Last season, Modrić featured in 37 matches for Milan, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists.
