For almost a year and a half, Arsenal have been linked with Real Sociedad midfielder Martín Zubimendi. Now, the Spaniard is finally set to complete his move to the Emirates.
Details: According to talkSPORT, the 26-year-old has arrived in London to finalize the deal. He will sign a long-term contract with the club, and the Gunners will pay a fee exceeding his £50 million release clause.
Zubimendi will join Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard, reinforcing the core of Arsenal's midfield. His arrival could signal a possible departure for Thomas Partey, whose contract is expiring and who is in talks with Barcelona.
Reminder: It was previously reported that Arsenal has agreed personal terms with RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Šeško, but the Gunners still need to reach an agreement with the German "Red Bulls" themselves.
