A potential blockbuster transfer to Barcelona appears to be in jeopardy. Inter's defender Alessandro Bastoni, who had been heavily linked with the Catalan giants in recent weeks, is showing less and less interest in a move to Spain.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the player himself is no longer as keen on the transfer as before. The Italian feels comfortable in Milan and is leaning towards staying at his current club.
The Catalans were even planning a €50 million offer, but Inter reportedly reacted with a dose of irony to such intentions. Now, the situation has become even more complicated for Barcelona.
Barcelona is expected to look for defensive reinforcements this summer. Among the club's targets were Ibrahima Konaté and Nico Schlotterbeck, but the German has already extended his contract with Borussia Dortmund, while the Frenchman is close to a new deal with Liverpool.
