Transfer close. Atletico welcome Chelsea star to their stadium

The transfer sagas of this window are finding one finish or another, and one story is ripe for a happy ending.

Atletico's press office have released a picture of Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher walking around the club's stadium. The clubs are reportedly finalising the transfer.

Earlier, Fabrizio Romano reported that Atletico have already agreed with Chelsea on the transfer of Gallagher, and the amount that the Madrid club will pay for the midfielder will be 40 million euros.

The player himself will sign a five-year contract with the "colchoneros".

It can not be said that Gallagher says goodbye to Chelsea beautifully, as earlier the midfielder refused to extend his contract with the club, as a result of which he was suspended from training with the first team.

In addition to the Chelsea midfielder, Atletico are finalising another transfer from the Premier League. Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez is set to move to the Wanda Metropolitano.
