Mason Greenwood is on the verge of one of the summer's most sensational transfers.

Details: According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the English winger has given his approval to move to Roma. The Roman club is preparing an offer of €45 million, but Marseille want €50 million for the player.

Now, both sides need to find a compromise on the transfer fee. Greenwood has already chosen Roma and Gian Piero Gasperini, but a final agreement between the clubs has yet to be reached.

It is also reported that the player has a preliminary agreement with Roma for a five-year contract with a salary of around €4.5 million per season. The player himself is keen on the move, particularly because of the opportunity to play in the Champions League.

It's worth noting that Transfermarkt values Mason Greenwood at €55 million, and his contract with Marseille runs until the summer of 2029.
