PSG have strengthened their goalkeeping department for the future.

Details: The Parisian club has officially announced the signing of 18-year-old Italian shot-stopper Alessandro Longoni from Milan.

The young goalkeeper has signed a contract with PSG until 2031 and will wear the number 16 shirt. With Renato Marin leaving on loan, Longoni is expected to take on the role of the team's third-choice keeper.

Alessandro joined Milan's academy at the age of nine, progressed through the club's youth ranks, and has already featured in the UEFA Youth League.

It's worth noting that Longoni is regarded as one of the most promising Italian goalkeepers of his generation. He has represented Italy at every level from U15 to U19, and in 2024, he became a European champion with the U17 team.
