Transfer bombshell! Xabi Alonso wants to sign Kylian Mbappé for Chelsea
The European football market is on the verge of a seismic shift.
Details: According to MatchDay Central, citing talkSPORT, London’s Chelsea is considering a blockbuster transfer that could completely reshape the balance of power in world football—the “Blues” are targeting the signing of Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappé.
The main driving force behind this potential blockbuster move is Xabi Alonso, who just days ago was officially appointed as Chelsea manager, signing a four-year contract.
The Spanish tactician, who knows the Frenchman’s capabilities well from their time together in Madrid, is personally keen to bring Mbappé to Stamford Bridge.
It’s worth noting that this season, the French forward has played 44 matches for the Madrid club across all competitions, scoring 42 goals and providing 7 assists. Transfermarkt values the player at €200 million.
Reminder: Real Madrid legend Dani Carvajal bid an emotional farewell to the club.
