Tottenham manager sets Premier League record
Tottenham coach Angelos Postecoglou became the author of the best start among all debutant coaches in the history of the Premier League.
According to the Greek specialist, it is too early to draw final conclusions about where his team will finish the season.
“There is still a lot of work ahead. Overall, I am pleased with the team's performance at the start of the season, and I want to pay tribute to everyone involved in this achievement. I believe that we are in a well-deserved place in the table, but there is still a lot of work to do, as all sorts of challenges remind us,” he said.
Let us remember that Angelos Postecoglou was appointed as head coach of Tottenham last summer. Yesterday his team beat Fulham 2:0.
Before that, he led the Australian national team, as well as a number of Australian clubs. He also worked in Japan, and before moving to England he managed the Scottish Celtic.
Spurs currently occupy first place in the Premier League standings. Following them in the standings are Manchester City and Arsenal, which are two points behind.
