Tensions are mounting at Tottenham after what many see as the unfair dismissal of head coach Ange Postecoglou, just 16 days after the club's historic Europa League triumph. The club’s decision has come as a shock to both fans and players, sparking outrage in the dressing room and casting doubt over the future of several key squad members.
The Australian manager was let go exactly two years after his appointment, despite delivering the club’s first trophy since 2008 and their first European victory in 41 years. According to Telegraph Sport, the coach’s departure has triggered a wave of discontent within the squad.
Reports suggest that some players are seriously considering leaving the club, and the new manager will face the tough task of not only improving performances on the pitch but also restoring harmony within the squad. Financially, Postecoglou's exit will cost Spurs around £4m in compensation. He also received about £2m in bonuses for the Europa League victory and securing a Champions League place.
