Tottenham Eye Mohammed Kudus as Summer Transfer Race Heats Up
According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur is getting ready to make a move for Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus, who may be among the most sought-after players in the forthcoming summer transfer window.
Tottenham is reportedly mulling a bid for the gifted midfield player from West Ham, who has a €90 million release clause, according to TBR Football. In the upcoming weeks, talks between the two teams are anticipated to occur as Spurs try to strengthen their roster for the upcoming campaign.
A Diverse Skill in Great Demand
Kudus has made 24 Premier League appearances and scored three goals in his first season with West Ham. Major Premier League teams have noticed Kudus' versatility as a winger and midfield player, though, in addition to his numbers.
The versatile player is still a great asset for West Ham, and his contract is slated to expire in 2028. Despite this, the London club is open to negotiations, having confirmed that Jarrod Bowen is the only player deemed non-transferable. This leaves the door open for Kudus to potentially leave if the right offer comes in.
Tottenham Faces Strong Competition
Tottenham isn’t the only club interested in Kudus. Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Newcastle are all reportedly monitoring the situation closely, with each club keen to secure the 23-year-old’s services.
