After Harry Kane's departure to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, Tottenham has struggled to find a suitable replacement. However, in the current summer transfer window, the Spurs are making an effort to sign a top forward.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham is actively working on acquiring Bournemouth's top scorer, Dominic Solanke.

The London club has already reached an agreement with the player, but negotiations with the Cherries over the transfer fee have yet to be concluded. Tottenham plans to increase their initial offer to finalize the deal.

Last season, Solanke scored 19 goals in 38 matches, making him the fourth-highest scorer.

Previously, Solanke played for his boyhood club Chelsea, Liverpool, and Vitesse. The 26-year-old forward has been with Bournemouth since January 2019.
