Tottenham has lost a key player until the end of the year

Tottenham head coach, Angelos Postecoglou, shared the sad news of the injury of Spurs midfielder, James Maddison.

According to the Australian specialist, his players risk being left out of the game until the end of the calendar year.

As you know, the young footballer suffered an ankle injury.

“He's not doing well. First he was out with an ankle injury, and the next day he felt something, so we decided to send him for examination. He probably won’t be with us until next year,” The Athletic quoted the coach as saying.

It is already known for sure that Maddison will miss the upcoming matches of the England national team due to the injury.

Maddison moved to the London team from Leicester in the last transfer window, when he was paid 46.3 million euros.

This season, the midfielder took part in 12 matches in all competitions, in which he scored three goals and five assists.

The midfielder’s agreement with the London club is valid until the end of June 2028.
