This season, Tottenham has faced personnel issues in the goalkeeper position, prompting the club to turn to the transfer market.

Details: Today, Spurs officially announced the acquisition of goalkeeper Antonín Kinský from Slavia Prague.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper has signed a long-term contract with Tottenham. According to Fabrizio Romano, the transfer fee amounted to £10 million.

This season, Kinský established himself as Slavia's first-choice goalkeeper, making 30 appearances and keeping 14 clean sheets. Last season, he spent on loan at Pardubice.

Tottenham’s primary goalkeeper, Guglielmo Vicario, is sidelined for several months due to injury, while backup Fraser Forster missed yesterday’s 2-1 defeat to Newcastle due to illness.

Reminder: Yesterday’s Tottenham vs. Newcastle match was attended by Thomas Tuchel, the new head coach of the England national team.
