Top Serie A club could sign Matic

Experienced central midfielder of Rennes, Nemanja Matic, may make a winter move to AC Milan, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 35-year-old Serbian is eager to leave his current club. It is reported that he has left the city, taken all his belongings from the training ground, and also exited the team's WhatsApp group.

Milan sees Matic as an excellent short-term replacement for Rade Krunic, who recently moved to Fenerbahçe.

Lyon is also showing interest in the seasoned midfielder.

Matic has previously played in Italy for AS Roma, where he scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists in 35 Serie A matches last season.

With Rennes, the former Chelsea and Manchester United player has played 19 matches in all competitions, contributing with 3 assists.
