Top clubs transfer target is close to leaving his team in the summer

The transfer saga surrounding Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Georgiy Sudakov is nearing its conclusion. In the winter, the Donetsk player was close to a move to Serie A, but in the summer, the 21-year-old from the Ukrainian club may end up in another league.

Rumours surrounding Sudakov's transfer were commented on by Shakhtar CEO Serhii Palkin, who assessed the possibility of a transfer as quite high:

"In this transfer window, he has a big opportunity to move to another big club. We have had several contacts with big clubs, and some of them are not in direct negotiations with us, but are only looking at the summer situation.

He will definitely move to one of the top European clubs this summer. When I was at Chelsea's match against Everton on Monday, many people asked me about Sudakov," Palkin told the Evening Standard.
