Tommy Fury calls out Jake Paul for a rematch. Paul fires back calling him a "muppet"
British heavyweight boxer Tommy Fury has publicly challenged YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul to a rematch.
"I just woke up to see Logan Paul on his podcast saying that I apparently don’t want to fight Jake and that I’m avoiding the bout.
I’ve already beaten you once and handed you your first loss. I can do it again – it’s no problem. But let’s talk serious numbers on the phone. If you want to reach out, you know where to find me."
Paul did not hold back, taking to social media to fire off a sharp rebuttal.
"What an absolute muppet. Dude, you just pulled out of a fight for the third time. You have zero credibility.
I offered you $8 million, and you ran. Now Molly dumped you, DAZN sued you, and you still can’t do anything without your dad. Get lost," Paul wrote on X.
Background: Fury defeated Paul in February of last year via judges' decision, marking Paul’s first professional boxing loss.
More recently, on November 16, Paul secured a unanimous decision victory over the legendary Mike Tyson in Texas. The bout held official status and has been added to the professional records of both fighters.
