Suryanwanshi undoubtedly has immense potential, but he shouldn't be reaching for the stars before his time.

Details: On a recent episode of JioStar’s “IPL Today Live,” former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan acknowledged the rapid progress and skill of 14-year-old Rajasthan Royals prodigy Vaibhav Suryanwanshi, but cautioned that both failure and success can bring him back down to earth just as fast, should he let his guard down.

According to Pathan, it's absolutely vital for the young cricketer to learn how to handle pressure:

“Today he might be a hero, but tomorrow he could fade into obscurity.

It's entirely possible that this season, teams will start devising strategies against him – for example, consistently bowling outside off stump, keeping the ball out of his reach. He’ll have to find ways to counter this, even if it means risking getting out. On top of that, he could face the same challenges as Abhishek Sharma (at this year’s T20 World Cup): different types of deliveries and constant changes in pace, so how he adapts and finds ways to score in these situations will be absolutely crucial,” Pathan concluded.

Vaibhav Suryanwanshi became the youngest Indian cricketer to score a T20 century.

Suryanwanshi also set the cricketing world abuzz by racking up 175 runs in the final against England, securing the Under-19 World Cup title, and earning both "Player of the Match" and "Player of the Tournament" honors in the final.

At the Under-19 World Cup, Suryanwanshi finished as the tournament’s second-highest run-scorer, amassing 439 runs in seven matches.
