The contract was terminated immediately, leaving the position of Valencia’s sporting director vacant.

Details: Today, the official website of Spanish club Valencia announced that the club’s management has decided to part ways with the 44-year-old Spanish director, Miguel Ángel Corona.

It is reported that the main reason for his dismissal was poor results both on the pitch, in management, and in transfer policy.

Corona had served as Valencia’s sporting director since January 2020 and also headed the club’s scouting department.

It was officially confirmed today that Miguel Ángel Corona has been appointed as the new sporting director at Panathinaikos. Clearly, Corona didn’t stay unemployed for long.

Reminder: From La Liga to the Championship. Carlos Corberán could leave Valencia to take charge at Middlesbrough
