Time to say goodbye? Chelsea set to part ways with Liam Delap

Details: According to Topskills Sports UK, Chelsea’s management has decided to allow the 23-year-old forward to leave the squad during the summer transfer window.
The coaching staff led by Rosenior reportedly does not count on Delap, but believes the player needs to continue his development. Chelsea are considering both a permanent transfer and a loan move for the striker.

According to the source, the most prominent contender for Delap is Manchester United, who have previously shown significant interest in a potential transfer.
Liam Delap joined Chelsea in the summer of 2025 from Ipswich Town for €35 million. He has made 30 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists.
Delap’s current contract with the “Blues” runs until 2031, and his market value is estimated at €35 million by Transfermarkt.
