Chelsea and Aston Villa set to battle hard for Tottenham talent Lucas Bergvall
This summer, Tottenham may part ways with one of the squad's most promising talents—Lucas Bergvall.
Details: According to The Athletic, the London club already had to fend off inquiries from other teams during the winter transfer window, but interest in the 20-year-old Swede has only intensified.

The situation around the player has reportedly heated up due to the ambiguous use of his talents on the pitch. While Ange Postecoglou relied on Bergvall as a key figure, his successor Thomas Frank has used the midfielder less frequently. Moreover, the coach often deploys Lucas on the wing, even though the player himself prefers—and is most effective—in central midfield.
The player's dissatisfaction with his role and position has not gone unnoticed: Chelsea and Aston Villa, both long-time admirers of the Swede's talent, are closely monitoring the developments. Clubs from other European leagues have also expressed interest in the midfielder.
Notably, the Swedish international has made 26 appearances for the Spurs this season, scoring once and providing four assists. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €40 million.
Reminder: Feyenoord may terminate the contract with former Chelsea player Raheem Sterling just two days after signing him. Sterling has already been banned from Feyenoord training sessions.
