It is reported that if Pep chooses to step down, the City management already has a replacement lined up—former Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca, who is currently a free agent.
Guardiola himself is in no rush to make a final decision, as he is fully focused on the current season's objectives and will only address his future during the summer break.
Guardiola took charge of Manchester City in 2016. Under his leadership, the club has played 582 matches, securing 415 wins, 75 draws, and 95 defeats. His current contract with the Citizens runs until the summer of 2027.
