The former Brazilian midfielder has decided to hang up his boots for good.

Details: Ex-Brazil international and Manchester City star Fernandinho has officially announced the end of his playing career.

"I'm already exhausted. Today I ran for more than thirty minutes and I'm completely drained. There's nothing left in football that motivates me anymore. I've achieved everything I could. Now it's time to dedicate myself to my family," Fernandinho said.

Throughout his career, Fernandinho played for Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk, English giants Manchester City, and Brazilian club Athletico Paranaense. He also earned 53 caps for the Brazil national team, featuring in two World Cups: the home tournament in 2014 and the 2018 edition in Russia.
