Details: According to renowned and highly respected journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, 31-year-old Manchester City centre-back John Stones has decided to leave the club at the end of the season as a free agent.
Stones wants to help the team through the tense season finale but has no intention of extending his contract, which expires on June 30 of this year.
John Stones joined Manchester City back in 2016 from Everton for €55.5 million. The defender has played 292 matches for the Citizens, scoring 19 goals and providing 9 assists.
According to Transfermarkt, John Stones’ market value is estimated at €15 million.
