This week marks the beginning of one of the premier golf tournaments - the Masters. It will take place from Thursday to Sunday, April 11-14.

According to TWLegion, American golfer Tiger Woods is on the verge of a historic achievement at the Masters. If Woods can make the cut at Augusta, he will become the first player in Masters history to make 24 consecutive cuts.

We reported that Tiger Woods arrived in Augusta to prepare for the Masters tournament. The golfer played nine holes and mainly focused on his short game - chipping and putting.

The Masters tournament will take place from Thursday to Sunday, April 11-14. It is the first of four major golf tournaments in the series. It is held annually at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, USA.

Since 1949, the champion has been awarded the iconic green jacket, which must be returned to the Augusta National Club a year after their victory. The jacket remains their personal property and is stored alongside the jackets of other champions in a specially designated wardrobe.
