The legendary American golfer Tiger Woods has arrived in Augusta to prepare for the Masters tournament.

As reported on the Masters website, the golfer completed nine holes and focused predominantly on honing his short game - chipping and putting. Accompanied only by his long-time friend Rob McNamara, the executive vice president of TGR, Woods strolled freely and diligently worked on the greens.

As a reminder, the Masters tournament will take place from Thursday to Sunday, April 11-14. It is the first of the four major golf tournaments. It is held annually at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, USA.

Since 1949, the champion has been awarded the iconic green jacket, which must be returned to the Augusta National Club a year after their victory. The jacket remains their personal property and is stored alongside the jackets of other champions in a specially designated wardrobe.

Additionally, Tiger Woods has been appointed to the board of directors of PGA Tour Enterprises. Woods has been named vice-chairman of the newly formed company PGA Tour Enterprises. It is reported that they will focus on engaging and growing fans, as well as developing new media, sponsorships, and commercial opportunities.
