Three key players ruled out for Arsenal’s next match
Arsenal are preparing for their UEFA Champions League clash with Club Brugge, but they will do so without three crucial members of the squad.
Details: Ahead of the match, head coach Mikel Arteta confirmed that three important players will not feature — William Saliba, Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard. All of them are unavailable.
Quote: “Declan is ill. He was already quite sick after the last game and didn’t travel… Saliba is out. Trossard as well — he’s taken another knock in the same area where he previously had an issue. I don’t think it will keep him out for long, but he’s unavailable”, Arteta said.
The match against Brugge will be played as part of the Champions League’s sixth round on Wednesday, 10 December, with kickoff at 21:00 CET.
Reminder: Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus has fully recovered from injury and is expected to play in the sixth round of the Champions League against Belgian side Brugge.
