With club football on pause for the international break, Argentina are set to face Angola in a friendly — but not all players will be available to feature.
Details: Insider Gastón Edul has reported that three players — Julián Álvarez, Giuliano Simeone, and Nahuel Molina — will miss the match against the Angolans. The reason is that none of them possess the required vaccinations for entry into Angola.
Earlier reports confirmed that the match is scheduled for November 14, right after the country’s Independence Day celebrations on November 11. However, the occasion will come at a steep price for the hosts, as Angola will pay at least €12 million to stage the game.
Reminder: Back in 2022, ahead of the World Cup, Argentina faced Italy in the Finalissima — and now, the next edition of the tournament is already on the horizon, with the Argentina–Spain clash officially confirmed.
