In August, it was reported that Newcastle right-back Kieran Trippier wanted to leave St. James' Park following his return from Euro 2024 with the England national team.

It has been reported that three European clubs have expressed interest in signing the experienced defender. Although a transfer did not materialize this summer, interest in the player remains, and a move to one of these clubs cannot be ruled out.

Details: According by The Sun, The main contender for the Englishman’s signature is the Turkish giant Fenerbahçe, managed by José Mourinho.

Trippier is also attracting interest from Italy, with AC Milan and Atalanta keen on securing his services. Milan boasts a contingent of English players, including former Chelsea trio Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Fikayo Tomori, and Tammy Abraham.

Reminder: Despite the rumors surrounding the future of the 33-year-old, Eddie Howe reiterated in an interview earlier this month that Trippier will play an “important role” for Newcastle this season. Trippier has two years left on his contract with the club.

It was previously reported that the right-back had agreed on personal terms with Turkish Super Lig newcomers Eyüpspor, but the transfer did not go through.
