Thomas Tuchel excludes two key England players ahead of Latvia match
Thomas Tuchel made a surprising decision by excluding two key England players ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Latvia.
Following a 2-0 victory over Albania, the coach continues to shape the squad, emphasizing the importance of team play.
Details: The England team is preparing for their second qualifying match, and Tuchel has once again made changes to the lineup. Despite Anthony Gordon leaving the camp due to injury, two other players have not been included in the squad for the upcoming match.
They are Tino Livramento and Aaron Ramsdale, who were not on the final list of 23 players published on the UEFA website. Livramento, although named in the squad for the previous encounter, did not take the field, and Ramsdale was not even included for the first match.
Instead, Morgan Gibbs-White and Jarell Quansah have been included, who were not part of the team against Albania.
Previously, Tuchel explained his decision, stating that when selecting players, it's important not only to focus on talent and star status but also to form a group with a strong team spirit capable of competing not only in individual qualifiers but also consistently in tournaments.
Reminder: Thomas Tuchel began his tenure with the England team with a convincing victory over the Albanians. The next match is scheduled for Monday, March 24, against Latvia. Kick-off is at 20:45 CET.
