Liberia A head coach Thomas Kojo has announced a 26-man squad for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifying doubleheader against Senegal. The first leg will take place in Monrovia on December 22, with the return leg scheduled for December 28 in Diamniado.

Highlighting the squad is 17-year-old striker William Gibson, who made his senior national team debut in Liberia’s final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Algeria. Goalkeeper Abdulai Koulibaly, midfielder Lawrence Kumeh, and left-back Sebastien Teclar are among the few players in the squad with prior senior national team experience.

In an effort to develop new talent, Kojo’s squad is mostly made up of players with little experience on the continental stage. Several members of the squad have recently joined the national team, demonstrating Liberia’s focus on developing emerging talent for upcoming campaigns.

Liberia advanced to this stage after a 3-2 aggregate victory over Sierra Leone in November. Meanwhile, Senegal, under new coach Souleymane Diallo following Pape Thiaw’s promotion to the senior team, will present a formidable challenge for Liberia.

Full Squad:

Goalkeepers: Abdulai Koulibaly, Emmanuel Sumo, Prince Gonyon.

Defenders: Sebastien Teclar, Williams Wolobah, George Weah Jr., Prince Foday, Benjamin Sayeh, Emmanuel Boye.

Midfielders: Lawrence Kumeh, Terrence Johnson, Jackson Kromah, Ben Dee, Melvin Wilson, Joseph Fahnbulleh.

Forwards: William Gibson, Sylvester Jallah, Patrick Kojo, James Samuels, Eric Nagbe, Emmanuel Togbah, Prince Doe, Marcus Gaye.
