“This is the worst idea” – Jürgen Klopp slams the Club World Cup

The Club World Cup is currently taking place in the U.S., but not everyone in the football world is pleased with it — including Jürgen Klopp.
Details: According to the German coach, the Club World Cup is the worst idea he’s ever seen implemented in football.
Quote: “The Club World Cup is the worst idea ever brought into football. People who’ve never had anything to do with the day-to-day reality of the sport are proposing these ideas. I fear that next season, players will suffer injuries they've never experienced before. And if not, then, it will happen at the World Cup or right after,” Klopp stated.
Incidentally, Enzo Maresca recently also questioned the choice of the United States as the host country and criticized their organization of the tournament.
Reminder: Last year, Jürgen Klopp joined the Red Bull conglomerate as a global sporting director, though he hasn’t forgotten about his former players at Liverpool.
