Recently, Jürgen Klopp joined the Red Bull conglomerate as global sporting director, but he hasn’t forgotten about his former charges at Liverpool.
Details: According to talkSPORT, one of the clubs within the conglomerate where the German now works—specifically RB Leipzig—is interested in signing Liverpool’s attacking midfielder Harvey Elliott. It’s still unclear how much the German side is willing to pay, but the Reds have set a £40 million price tag for the 22-year-old midfielder.
Back when he was Liverpool’s manager, Klopp regretted that Elliott wasn’t getting enough playing time, and the possible arrival of Florian Wirtz at Anfield could finally put an end to the player’s ambitions for regular football.
Recall: Yesterday, the Reds completed the transfer of Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez, paying the Cherries €40 million.
