Jürgen Klopp has returned to the managerial role, albeit briefly, at one of the clubs where he first gained his fame—Borussia Dortmund. Although he spent only one day at Signal Iduna Park, it was a deeply emotional moment.

Details: After leaving Liverpool at the end of last season, Klopp has been out of work. However, at the request of two club legends, Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Błaszczykowski, he returned to Borussia Dortmund. Both players were having their farewell match and wanted Klopp as their coach for the occasion.

The German manager could not turn down his former players' request and came back to Signal Iduna Park. The fans welcomed him warmly, and Klopp was visibly touched to be back at a place that holds such significance for him.

Quote: “This is a lifelong dream come true. I wanted this to happen again.

Just a few months ago, I was given a very emotional send-off in Liverpool, and today was equally emotional.

Some may say, ‘He’s one person today, another tomorrow.’ But I explain it like this: when you have three children, you love them all. It’s the same with my three clubs—I love them all.”

Reminder: Jürgen Klopp is considered a legend at Borussia Dortmund. During his seven years in charge, he won two consecutive Bundesliga titles, brought home the DFB-Pokal, and twice secured the German Super Cup. He also led the team to a UEFA Champions League final.

Since leaving Liverpool, Klopp has remained outside of football, spending his time building his villa in Mallorca, attending various events, including the Euro 2024 final and a Taylor Swift concert.
