One of the world's largest pizza chains, Domino's, on its official page, made a playful jab at Manchester City's star striker Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian forward had a disappointing performance in another big match, failing to make a significant impact against Real Madrid (3-3) at the Santiago Bernabéu. After the match, Domino's posted the following message:
"things that disappear
- slices of our pizza
- Haaland in big games"
Haaland's statistics in the match against Real Madrid were indeed underwhelming:
- 20 touches
- 7 losses of possession
- 6/9 (67%) accurate passes
- 1 key pass
- 1 shot
- 0.09 xG
- 0 goals
- 0 assists
In the current season, Haaland has scored 30 goals and provided 6 assists in 37 matches across all competitions.
