Silva has no intention of retiring despite his age.

Details: According to ESPN Brazil, 41-year-old Brazilian centre-back Thiago Silva will leave Fluminense at the end of this month, and one of the options for continuing his career is Italian side Milan.

Reports indicate that Rossoneri head coach Massimiliano Allegri is personally pushing for Silva's signing, seeing the Brazilian's experience and skill as a significant boost to the squad. Milan are ready to offer Silva a six-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

The player himself has admitted he dreams of a return to London club Chelsea, but Milan's offer could change everything.

Thiago Silva played for Milan from 2009 to 2012. In the summer of 2024, Silva joined Fluminense as a free agent from Chelsea. Since then, he has made 66 appearances for the Brazilian club, scoring 5 goals and providing 1 assist.

Silva's current contract with Fluminense runs until December 31, 2025.
