Thiago Silva has left Fluminense.
Details: Fluminense officially announced that defender Thiago Silva, on Tuesday, December 16, at the Carlos Castilho training center, formally terminated his contract with the club.
The Tricolor academy graduate has completed his second spell with Fluminense's senior team. During his tenure, he lifted the 2007 Copa do Brasil trophy, made 212 appearances, and scored 19 goals while serving as team captain.
It's worth noting that this season, Fluminense finished fifth in the Brazilian Serie A with Thiago Silva in the squad.
