"They are the favorites, but we don't care." Borussia Dortmund coach on the Champions League final

Today, the Champions League final will take place, where Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund will compete for victory in Europe's most prestigious club tournament.

Ahead of the match, the head coach of the German team, Edin Terzic, stated that he wants his team to embrace the underdog status. He believes that the players should leverage Real Madrid's strength against them.

Terzic urged his team to remember their status before the matches against Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinals. The German club was also considered the underdog then, but they managed to surpass the French side and reach the Champions League final.

"You can play ten matches against Real Madrid. It will be tough. But if you reach the final, anything is possible.

It’s about the game, not luck. We had 60 matches to prepare for the final," he stated at the pre-match press conference.

"Obviously, they are the favorites, but that doesn't concern us. We weren't favorites against Atletico Madrid or PSG."
