Courtois did not concede a single goal this season

Real Madrid's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who played in the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund, achieved an impressive feat. The Belgian shot-stopper did not concede a single goal in the 2023/24 campaign. However, there is a caveat — Courtois played only five matches this season.

Due to injuries, the Belgian played his first match of the season only on May 4. The goalkeeper managed to participate in five games, keeping clean sheets in all of them: 3-0 against Cadiz, 4-0 against Granada, 5-0 against Alaves, 0-0 against Betis, and 2-0 against Borussia Dortmund.

Interestingly, Niclas Füllkrug scored against Courtois in the Champions League final, but the goal was disallowed due to offside.

Thus, Thibaut finished the season without conceding a single goal - five clean sheets in five matches and 19 saves in total.

It is worth noting that Courtois was not included in the Belgium squad for the upcoming European Championship.
