The sparring partners for the Ukrainian boxer, Alexander Usyk, are being actively looked for.

The Ukrainian team manager, Sergei Lapin, announced the beginning of the selection of partners for training, writes Ready to Fight.

As is known, in the near future, the Ukrainian will begin preparations for a fight against the British Tyson Fury. The athletes will enter the ring on February 17, 2024 and compete for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion.

At the moment, Usyk team has already established clear parameters that the Ukrainian’s opponents must meet. The publication also writes that the champion is now training in Valencia, Spain.

The ideal sparring partner for Usyk should be left-handed and also have considerable size. They will be paid $400 for training with Usyk. In particular, the height of the sparring partner should be from 200 to 210 cm, the arm span should be from 200 to 216 cm, and the weight should be at least 79.5 kg.

It is reasonable to mention that Usyk’s opponent, Tyson Fury, defeated Francis Ngannou in his last fight.
