There's still time. Atlético Madrid plans to sign new players this summer
Atlético Madrid has been making solid moves in the transfer market this offseason. The Colchoneros have successfully signed Robin Le Normand, Alexander Sørloth, Julián Álvarez, and Conor Gallagher. However, they aren't planning to stop there and have set their sights on bringing in two more players.

During a recent press conference, Atlético Madrid's head coach, Diego Simeone, stated that his team still needs to fill two vacant positions. The Argentine coach mentioned that one of the new arrivals at the Civitas Metropolitano is expected imminently, possibly within the next 24 hours.
This likely refers to Clément Lenglet, with reports indicating that Atlético has already reached an agreement with Barcelona for his loan and is finalizing the deal.
The second player Atlético is targeting is a backup goalkeeper. After Horatiu Moldovan's move to Sassuolo from Serie B, Atlético has been considering Walter Benítez from PSV and Justin Bijlow from Feyenoord for this position. However, it's still unclear who will eventually serve as Jan Oblak's understudy.
